Rudy Jude

I'm drawn to Rudy Jude because the clothes are beautiful AND they represent everything I want clothing to be - thoughtfully made, environmentally conscious, and built to last. They're designed in Maine and produced in small batches in LA, using techniques that most brands abandoned for cheaper alternatives. I appreciate their commitment to natural dyes. Their pre-order model means they're only making what people actually want, eliminating the waste that's endemic to fashion, while their small-drop releases let them work at their pace instead of having to follow seasonal collections. These aren't just clothes - they're objects that tell the story of what happens when makers choose to do things the right way, even when it's harder.

This wool lined jacket is on my wishlist.
